So, you’ve found my secret. Aspiring coconspirators, allow me to introduce myself…

It’s a unique challenge, to attempt to paint a portrait of one’s self by words alone. I could list traits and interests, but first, I’d like to share the philosophy of life that drives all else. We are mortal for such a brief moment. We are here on earth to educate our souls through the senses, and through our entanglement with one another. My interests are plentiful and varied, but at the center of everything, my goal is to live as much and as humanly as possible.

My first love is music. I was singing from the moment I could speak. I trained classically to stretch my range to the highest notes, sang arias in Italian, French, German. Music is a bit more private for me now, like a journal of poetry I tend to in the quiet hours, but from time to time I take to the jazz club stage and croon a bit of Nina Simone or Billie Holiday. This is not the only instance I find myself on stage, as my next love is stand up comedy. Storytelling, finding the humor in the everyday, the art of noticing. I live for the thrill of performing, leading a room to laugh and smile. One of my current projects is writing a comedy TV show. I absolutely adore being on set, and work frequently as a photographer for films, create album artwork and press shots for touring musicians, or just make fun art with my beautiful friends. Beyond my creative pursuits, I equally enjoy exercising my analytical side. I am a published research scientist, focusing on the intersections of social and sexual life and health. I’ve worked in clinics as a sexual health counselor as well for universities as a research director, but in recent years have stepped back from formal settings in favor of a life more well suited for a wandering soul. Instead of executing someone else’s research, I prefer to collect my own data in the wild.

This far from conventional path I’ve chosen nurtures my hunger for knowledge, my unrelenting passion for expression, and deep love for all things human. I have immense gratitude for the opportunity to meet and connect with people I may otherwise never get the chance to know. Sharing such intimate moments, sometimes with a near stranger, is to me so central to what life is about. Tell me your story, what you believe, what you desire. I want to know your history, what sets your mind and body alight. I revel in the roles of confidant and muse. The satisfaction of curating a date where we can speak freely, indulge in our shared hunger, and prove yet again that magic is real and tangible. It’s for this reason I have a strong preference for longer engagements. Allow me to find the sexiest low lit restaurant in the city, where our hands can meet under the table, our gaze above. Let’s forget about our phones for a few days in favor of the sea breeze, crisp mountain air, or bustling city streets. My favorite people are curious nerdy freaks. Could that be you?
